Indonesia Unite

There's another example of how twitter is being used at the forefront of politics going on right now.

"Indonesia Unite" is a movement which aims to show that the country is united against terrorism after the attacks on the JW Marriot and Ritz Carlton Hotels in Jakarta. See the below video for aerial footage of the scene where the attacks took place.

The movement is calling on people to use the tag #indonesiaunite at the end of their posts and use the Indonesian flag as their profile picture (see here). At the moment it is among the top trending topics on twitter.

Here is an Indonesian website aiming to popularise the movement. Twitter never ceases to enthral me.
